- In-Person Event
- East Coast College & Lowestoft Sixth Form
As part of the Department for Education Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy all education settings are expected to have a climate action plan and a sustainability lead in place. There is increasing evidence and experience that shows education settings should be treating climate change as a risk which can disrupt learning through severe weather, affect buildings, outdoor spaces and day-to-day operations, impact health, wellbeing, attainment and attendance.
This free CPD event will help you take the next step wherever you are on the climate action plan journey, utilising a hugely successful collaborative format. Early years settings, schools and colleges within ‘commuting distance’ of Lowestoft are strongly encouraged to attend – but all are very welcome!
